Soon in Ukraine: Kiev III international film Festival.
In September of this year Kiev has a great cultural event. From 17 to 22 September, right under the open sky, will be III international film Festival (cmcf). All screenings will be held with free broadcast, and they will be able to assess everyone. By the way the best film of the Kiev International film Festival this year will be chosen by the audience.
With the support of the UN Office in Ukraine cmcf organizes screenings of social films on the most relevant topics.
This year the festival kicks off with the opening of a unique exhibition of the photographer of modernity Nicholas Gnilka.
In the past Nikolai gnisuk was the first Soviet artist, invited the American Academy for the 60th anniversary evening award Oscar. His solo exhibition in Los Angeles presented Robert De Niro.
Nikolai gnisuk collaborated with such filmmakers as miloš Forman, Federico Fellini, Edgar Ryazanov, Gleb Panfilov. He was friendly with Marcello Mastroianni and Wine Wenders. In the paintings he did scenes with Sophia Loren, Gina, Lollobrigida, Jean-Paul Belmondo, gérard Depardieu.
Nikolai gnisuk was born 18 December 1944 in the village in the Vinnytsia region. Interest in photo-art came to him after his mother gave him his first camera "Smena". He graduated from the Riga music school and worked at the Riga film Studio. A quarter of a century he was the photographer of the most popular in the USSR kinostudija "Soviet screen".
Movies and music will be the key points of the 3-th Kyiv International film Festival, offering competition of feature-length and short films with a strong musical component, as well as bands of soundtrack composers, the festival takes its unique place in the calendar of festivals around the world.
