Microsoft reminds us that their products are never free


Despite the fact that the official delivery of the commercial version of Windows 8 started two months ago, many PC owners continue to use the trial version of this operating system downloaded for free from the Windows Store.


So Microsoft recalls: in the night from 15 to 16 January 2013 all test build of Windows 8 will no longer fully operational and will have to restart the computer every few minutes before the time, until it is activated commercial license. While warnings about the imminent expiration of the free release, users will start to receive from January 1.


Together with the Windows will stop working and applications downloaded from the Windows Store in the course of using the demo version of the operating system. However, after installation, commercial copies of the "eight" performance of these programs can be restored, retaining all previously created custom settings.




Recall to offer free to try Windows 8, Microsoft began back in September 2011. Since then, they have released three preview "build" a new OS for developers, users, and so-called "pre-release".
