10 June 1936 was the largest in the USSR Studio animated films "Soyuzmultfilm", which included various cartoon workshops on the basis of multitude GUKF.
The first cartoon, published at the Studio, called "Africa hot", it was black and white. A year later appeared and color cartoons. In 1947, was released the first full-length cartoon film "the little humpbacked horse".
Film Studio "Soyuzmultfilm" created such well-known from childhood cartoons as "Pencil and splat merry hunters", "Mowgli", "the Kid and Carlson", "Umka", "Nu pogodi", "the Bremen town musicians", "Winnie the Pooh", "Shrek" and others.
