Vadim Petrov was born in 1960 In the city of Shostka, Sumy region. He studied at the Kharkov art College, then at the Kharkov art-industrial Institute at the faculty of monumental and decorative art.
To exhibit their works Vadim Petrov started from 1985 To 1989 artist take the national Union of artists of Ukraine. Artist illustrated "Notre Dame", "the divine Comedy" Dante, "the adventures of Robinson Crusoe" D. Defoe.
