Scientists have discovered why smart drink more

Scientists have discovered why smart drink moreIt turns out that the propensity to alcoholism goes side by side with intelligence. This conclusion was announced at the same time British and American scientists in a National survey of the development of children and adolescents.

Experts watched a group of teenagers in the process of growing up and exploring with alcohol. Scientists have divided the children into five conditional types, based on their abilities to cognition: "very silly", "stupid", "normal", "bright" and "very intelligent".

Then American experts have tested the mental abilities of children seven years later, and the state of British teenagers re-evaluated when those were filled with 20, 30 and 40 years. Scientists wanted to know when will be the dense acquaintance of adolescents with alcohol and what this will evolve over time, reports Discovery News.

And indeed, Woe from wit! - more intelligent children in both surveys, as adults, they drank more and more of their mediocre teammates. Matured "very clever" British children scored in tests eight of the nine points, estimating standard deviation on the basis of alcohol use.

Scientists, of course, took into account marital status, income, parents ' education and other social factors that could affect the addiction of young people to alcohol. But the results remained the same: more clever really drink more and more.
