Carefully, sunburn!


Carefully, sunburn! Trains and planes carrying the first happy holiday to meet the sea, sun and... sunburn. Count how many times you were sunburnt in the pursuit of a Golden tan, ignoring all rules of safe sun exposure. Yes, it is security. After all, for anybody not a secret that our, and the world environment leaves much to be desired. If 20 years ago you could bask in the sun without worrying about what will abhurite, today before sunbathing recommend you to use a special cream with a higher level of protection and do not overdo it with ultraviolet light. Otherwise, long-awaited vacation will turn into torture.



Summer, sun, UV


More than one scientist mind proved that the sun is both useful and harmful. The earth shone helps our body to produce vitamin D and serotonin, supports microflora balance of the skin and participates in reactions maintain the synthesis of insulin. But the coin has another side: the rays UF-and UF-B, which cause the formation of free radicals, and they, in turn, trigger the formation of melanoma.





Safety rules


To "communicate" with the sun brought to you only pleasure and health, remember a few simple rules:




- don't try to tan for 1 day. The continuous production of melanin is a protective reaction of the skin to ultraviolet light - activated only after a week of daily sun exposure;


the time sunbathing increase gradually, starting with 5 minutes;


- use creams and lotions with the level of protection appropriate for your skin phototype;


- you're not under direct sunlight from 10 am to 16 PM. The best time for sunbathing with 6-10 and 16-18;


- apply a thin uniform layer, because the rule "the more the better" on the sea coast not working;


- out of the water, not obligate the gentle rays of sunlight, and better vitritis towel dry. From school we know that water droplets can serve as small lenses, as well as to burn close.





Burns, or First aid


If you forget simple safety rules, still burned, and the funds from burns, do not help (believe me, but it happens), use proven grandmother's recipes:





Potatoes


The tubers are peeled, grated on a fine grater and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth. Spread it over the face or to moisten it to a gauze pad and apply on the affected skin. Potato juice has anti-inflammatory effect, it is used in the treatment of sunburn.




If badly burned skin area immediately put raw grated potatoes, it will soothe the pain and prevent blisters.




When the sun burns on the burnt places to put a layer of pulp made from grated potatoes for 20 - 30 minutes





Tea


When sunburn is recommended to apply a compress of strong brewed tea (a teaspoon of tea to brew in 1/4 Cup of boiling water, leave for 30 - 40 minutes, drain). Treatments 2 to 3 times a day lasting for 20 to 30 minutes Compresses to relieve the pain and burning sensation.




Welding can be used in a compress.




Pre-lubrication of the skin or other body parts strong brewed tea prevents sunburn.





A decoction of the leaves Ivan-tea-herb


Take 10 g of dry leaves, pour 1 Cup of boiling water, boil for 15 minutes to Use as a lotion for sunburn.





Camomile


Infusion of chamomile (1 tablespoon per Cup of boiling water, to insist 30 minutes) is used for lotions and compresses to relieve sunburn.





Quince


Seeds of quince pour boiled water in a ratio of 1:50, shake for 5 minutes, and then strain through cheesecloth. Received slimy infusion is recommended to lubricate the burnt places 1 - 2 times a day. Repeat the procedure 3 to 4 times in a row at intervals of 10 - 15 minutes





Aloe


Burnt skin is recommended to lubricate the juice from fresh leaves of aloe.




Burns used and diluted with boiled water, aloe juice (1:1). Soaked in diluted juice and pressed napkins are superimposed on the burnt surface 1 to 2 times per day every 5 to 10 minutes for one hour.




Watermelon




Burns apply the lotion prepared from equal parts of watermelon and cucumber juice.





Cabbage


Leaves sauerkraut use for burns, applying them to the burnt place.




St. John's wort




The broth zveroboja. Take 1 tablespoon of dry grass (leaves and flowers) of St. John's wort, pour a glass of boiling water, boil for 10 - 15 minutes and immediately drain. To use for lotions and wiping with burns.




Trapping oil. Take 3 tablespoons of dried and crushed herbs or flowers of St. John's wort, pour 200 g of vegetable oil, infuse for 2 to 3 weeks in a glass container, tightly closed lid, shaking occasionally. The resulting extract was filtered through cheesecloth. The oil stored in the refrigerator. Is used to treat burns, long nonhealing wounds, for greasing very dry skin, inflammation and irritation of the skin.





Oak


When skin burns apply 10 - 20% decoction of oak bark (20-40 g of bark in 200 ml of water). Strain the broth immediately after heating, allow to cool and use for lotions that impose on the burned skin for hours every 5 -10 minutes
