Frederic Beigbeder

Frederic Beigbeder"French novel" the book is autobiographical. It is a true story from the author's life: for the use of cocaine in a public place Frederic Beigbeder, by that time already a famous writer, was detained by police and taken to jail. Once in the dirty close the camera, he comes in despair. And suddenly, viplav from the depths of memory, there occur memories of childhood and youth, the dark walls seemed to move apart and disappear, and in their place one by one appear in pictures of the past, episodes from the history of his family.

French critics were unanimous in saying that a new book has revealed the classical tradition of French literature of the twentieth century, and compared it with the novels Roger Nimje and Francois Orissa. However, in the local press novel was ambiguous and caused a heated discussion. Along with honoring the artistic merit "French novel", for which he was awarded the prestigious "Renato", author denounced that he does not want to change and move away from the scandal. Although the book is very soft, saturated with memories of my youth (one of the symbols of this time is pretty small portrait of Frederick on the back flyleaf of the book), these images are born due to cocaine euphoria and sitting in prison.
