Nuts bring health!

Nuts bring health! Tree nuts, such as cashews, pistachios and walnuts, protect from excess weight, have a positive effect on cholesterol levels in the blood and help to prevent problems with the cardiovascular system.

Scientists from Louisiana state University, USA, recommend to include in your diet tree nuts. The use of these useful products are associated with higher levels of "good" cholesterol and lower levels of proteins that are associated with inflammation and disease of the heart and blood vessels. Also, people who regularly eat nuts, 5% less likely to suffer from metabolic syndrome - a group of risk factors that increase the risk of stroke, diabetes and other problems of the cardiovascular system.

"One of the most interesting findings of our study was that the use of tree nuts is associated with lower body weight, body mass index and waist. In particular, those who eat nuts, weight, body mass index and waist circumference were 2, 5 pounds, 0, 9 points and 2, 2 centimeters less, respectively, than in people who do not eat nuts," said the study authors.

The work has involved more than 13,000 men and women who had undergone a medical examination and reported their diet. As it turned out, the consumption of nuts reduces the risk of fat accumulation in the waist area, increase blood pressure and high fasting blood sugar, and increases good cholesterol. Also, the more nuts eats people, the more fruits, vegetables and grains in his diet.

The nuts should be part of the diet for any healthy person," concluded the researchers recommended that there are about 50 grams of nuts daily.
