In my childhood I was among those unfortunates who are constantly sick in transport (the only exception was the train).
Com terror arose in his throat whenever he had to sit in the car or take on the plane. Fortunately, childhood is gone and the problem with it.
But recently returned: had to drive 1200 miles with a child in the car is always sick. And I began to look for the answer to the question of what to do in such a situation. Answers so much.
First, try to have the child took my nausea is not as tragedy, but as a small imperfection occurring with age.
Share their own bitter experience: the feeling that nothing terrible nausea no, that has all the capabilities to quickly neutralize unpleasant consequences "disaster" for a child is very important.
Allow the child to feel relaxed, let him in the road package.
One mom even puts the child on the neck of a plastic bucket, and to disclose is not necessary.
But the bucket will not eject, it must be washed, and the bag simply throw in the trash.
If you have enough skill, you can do a "bucket" of hard package.
If the child vomits, wash it or wipe with a damp cloth with a pleasant smell - he let himself these wipes and will select and give a drink of water or juice.
Secondly, the problem able to eliminate a lot of medicines and homeopathic medicines.
But I have nothing to write I will not, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Thirdly, tips and experiences from other moms:
- avoid use of transport in which the child becomes ill (not ideal if traveling by car six times cheaper than by train);
- do not allow the child to eat before the journey and at the same time not to leave him hungry. To feed your baby at least an hour before departure. Try not to feed him on the move and by not snacking in the car: the smell of food can cause vomiting;
- caught in a fist coin, stone, ring and keep all the way (suitable if the road is short);
- if rebellious body will not respond to any funds and nausea with dizziness not take place, if possible, should be strictly horizontal position in the plane can lie on available seats one row, pre-lifting armrests (not suitable while traveling in the car in Europe, where the child unconditionally must sit in a child seat);
to chew or suck something tart, mint, salt. In the extreme case, to suck something inedible, at least a toothpick;
to have the child sit so that he could easily look ahead in front of you and not twist his head around;
- to keep the baby from time to time. Can be done on the road lemonade - pour the lemon boiling water, add a little sugar, cool to drink on the road in small SIPS;
- distract the child from his own sensations in all possible ways;
- to ensure that it was not stuffy;
- to give the child to sleep, what you can bring a small pillow, a soft toy or blanket;
- to make stops on the road (not suitable in the plane and on the boat);
- if the child is severely sick, specially induce vomiting (irritating the root of the tongue with a spoon or your finger). Shorty thereafter, it will become easier.
Finally, the most basic way, which previously I've ever heard: to seal the navel of the child patch. We did so.
The result: a 15 hour round child vomited once, it happened in the last 15 minutes of the road; a 15 hour drive back child was not sick even once.
