In Kiev, the children will play jazz

14 - 15 may at 16:00 on the Stage of the Municipal garden on the territory of the Mariinsky Park will host the Second international children's jazz festival Okeshka JAZZ.


Like last year, within two days of the festival in front of the capital audience will play the young musicians as soloists, and full baby jazz bands.




Throughout the festival, along with children will work stage band consisting of professional musicians, overseen by renowned jazz pianist and teacher Natalia Lebedeva. Young jazz musicians will have a great opportunity not only to show what they already know, but to learn from senior colleagues.




Guest of the festival will be the Latvian singer Olga Pirags - winner of many jazz competitions and festivals in Sweden, Germany, Finland, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, ex-soloist of the orchestra under the baton of Raymond Pauls.




Entrance to the festival is free.
