Play "Wolf and sheep"

Children gather in the yard outdoors or in a large room and, by lot, shall appoint one of the members of the shepherd, the other a wolf, and the rest remain in the role of sheep.




At both ends of the court or in the classroom, serve as a place to play, dissociate ourselves pad having 3-4 step width and called paddocks.




The space between the two fences, is called the field, and on one side it is separated feature a small space, which serves as the lair of the wolf.




After that sheep are placed in one of the corrals, and the shepherd becomes in a field near the corral.




Wolf sat in the lair, offers a shepherd to chase a flock of sheep in the field and at the same time trying to grab some of them and inspire them in their home. The shepherd while struggling to protect sheep, heading in the opposite pen, from a wolf, but it is not always possible, if the wolf is agility. Caught the sheep becomes the assistant of the wolf. After that, the wolf returns to the shepherd, saying: "ride herd", and in the performance of this requirement, together with his assistant tries to delay running to the opposite corral sheep.




Little by little the number of assistants wolf is incremented, and every time he has with them continues to go on the hunt for sheep.




The game can continue as long as the wolf does not catch all the sheep; and if the children get tired, especially when their number is very large, the game you can pause and earlier.




For the proper management of the game requires adherence to known rules, which, among other things, that the wolf should not leave hands up until the sheep come out of his crate and will not move towards the opposite.




The wolf is not granted rights to get in the corral, he can catch the sheep only in the field, i.e. in the space between the two pens.




Caught the sheep must submit to their fate and become an assistant wolf, helping him with the capture of new development, and assistants commonly hold hands, forming a chain and holding, thus, you get sheep.
