"Lada" with the new transmission will appear in Ukraine in 2013

The production of "Grant" and "Calin" with a new manual transmission with cable-drive "AVTOVAZ" will appear on the domestic market next year.

The production of "Grant" and "Calin" with a new manual transmission with cable-drive AVTOVAZ began in October, but in Ukraine machines with upgraded transmission will not appear until next year. According to company representatives, the box is now safer and more convenient in use and service.

Prices for cars with upgraded box in Ukraine is not yet known, but it is known that in Russia the price of the machines with the new transmission has increased by about 100-150 dollars. The box itself is a redesign of the transmission, which was established on Lada Kalina - instead of hard rods in her now use rope drive, which should positively affect vibrocompaction cars.




The switch should become clearer and easier. Reverse gear has received a mechanism to automatically lock and changed its place and now it is opposite the fifth gear. The transmission capacity is 2, 2 liters, not 3, 3 liters as in the predecessor. Now you need to fill semi-synthetic, and not mineral oil. In addition to "Kalina" a new box will also receive Lada Granta. Delivery models with the upgraded transmission will begin in the first quarter of 2013.
