In a red dress you are guaranteed a financial bonus!

For anybody not a secret that red attracts men. It has long been known that women with red lipstick seems men are more sexual. A recent study proved another advantage of red lipstick: it turns out, the waitress, whose lips painted red lipstick, get more tips.



The study was conducted by French scientists from the University of South Brittany (Universite de Bretagne-Sud). Scientists under the leadership of Nicolas Hygena (Nicolas Gueguen) and céline Jacob (Celine Jacob) conducted a series of experiments. During the experiment, the scientists watched 7 waitresses serving approximately 447 visitors in the three restaurants of the French city of Bath. Some of the waitresses lips were painted red lipstick, the other brown, were also waitress with pink lipstick and waitresses without lipstick on the lips.



Scientists wanted to see how the color of the lipstick effect on the number of tips. It should be noted that France is not very customary to tip, as in most French restaurants tip 12 percent of the final amount included in the bill.





The researchers found that most had received a tip waitresses with red lipstick, writes

A study of French scientists is not the first study showing an Association between make-up waitresses and number of tips. Previous research has shown that men are more willing to leave a tip for the waitress with "full" makeup, including eye shadow, mascara, lipstick, blush and Foundation. However, until now it was not clear how the color of the lipstick waitresses affects the number of tips.




Interestingly, the effect of the red color is observed everywhere. In particular, one study showed that women photographed on a red background, men seem more sexy. The volunteers are women, who evaluated the same pictures, ladies on the red background color did not seem particularly beautiful and sexually attractive. This does not mean that women are not subject to the phenomenon of "the effect of red". One study in 2010 showed that women find most sexually attractive men in red clothes.
