The set of products
1 kg green tomatoes
1 kg of sugar
1 Cup water
vanilla
Dense green wash the tomatoes, cut in half if large - larger number of parts and with a spoon remove the seeds and juice. To omit the prepared tomatoes in the boiling water and blanch for 5-10 minutes so that the tomatoes are soft. Discard in a colander, rinse with cold water.
Cook the sugar syrup of water and sugar, to give it the tomatoes and bring to a boil. To remove the workpiece from the heat and allow to infuse for 5-6 hours, again put on the fire and cook for 10 minutes after boiling on medium heat. Constantly remove the foam if it is formed. And again infuse.
Repeat the procedure 2 more times, when the last cooking add the vanilla (0, 5 sticks).
Ready jam hot pour in the prepared clean jars.
Recipe No. 2. Modern (with nuts)
The set of products
1 kg small green tomatoes
1, 5 kg of sugar
300 g shelled walnuts
1, 5 Cup water
Wash the tomatoes, cut a small piece of tomato from the stem, remove the seeds and juice. Grind nuts in a blender, but not to the point of agony. Blanch the tomatoes for 5-10 minutes, then discard in a colander, pour over boiling water.
Fill the softened tomatoes nuts. To prepare the sugar syrup and pour it over the tomatoes with the stuffing. Leave blank for a day, then the syrup, drain, boil it for 10 minutes and again pour the tomato hot syrup. Leave to stand for 8 hours.
Repeat the procedure two more times. Last cook until tender - a drop of jam should not bleed. Ready jam hot pour in the prepared clean jars.
