Korean designers Yong Joon Kim and Yong Rock Lee believes that in the future refrigerators should be transparent. But the "trick" in that the transparent door is only in case of necessity, the rest of the time the products are properly stored in total darkness.
In the fridge there are rotating shelves and partly opened door, which can greatly save energy. The motto of the founders of the transparent fridge was the principle of "more visibility and less cost".
