The best Breakfast


The best BreakfastEggs are the best option for Breakfast. According to scientists from the University of Louisiana, they did not have such an acute sense of hunger in the afternoon.


Approval was tested on 20 volunteers. They were offered in the morning, there are two eggs or a bowl of cereal during the week. Overall caloric intake was the same as the size of portions, the amount of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. At lunchtime volunteers answered, as they were hungry. Then they were given the opportunity to eat in unlimited quantities and asked to donate blood.




In the end, eggs allowed people to eat less at lunch. In their blood indicators of hunger hormone, ghrelin, were significantly lower, and the level of the hormone PYY, giving a feeling of fullness, above. Usually such properties of eggs is associated with a high content of protein. But recent work proves that it is not only the quantity but also the quality of the protein. Egg protein is better than other types of protein, experts say.
