Such meat - product of animal flesh, which, however, was never part of a living being, and at the same time significantly different from the artificial meat or vegetarian alternatives to meat, made from plant-based proteins such as soy.

New meat substitute is made with the use of stem cells. The process is incredibly time consuming and cumbersome, and therefore the cost of the first hamburger meat from the Petri dishes will make over 200 thousand euros. However, once scientists find "the right recipe of meat", the cost will drop to create affordable alternatives.

For farmers and livestock keepers is probably not the best news, but the novelty will help to preserve the environment and the lives of millions of animals around the world.
