10 years ago, when the composer Luc Plamondon held auditions for his new production of "Notre-Dame de Paris", he was struck by the voice and appearance of one of the artists. Garou began writing music from an early age, but his big breakthrough in the world of music he made in 1997 with his band "The Untouchables" ("untouchables"), then that he noticed. His debut album "Seul", was released on Sony Music in 2000. "Seul" was sold in 2, 5 million copies, and the title track, released as a separate single, has sold 1.5 million copies. Followed soon "Reviens", his second album, was very popular, selling millions of copies around the world. In the fall of 2005 Garou began work on his new album. This time the singer has decided not to hurry with the release of the album.




Titled simply "Garou", the album was not conceptual, although his keynote began thinking about time. The result is an album rich compositions and strong lyrics that immediately stormed to the top of the charts, and a European tour, which began in November 2006, ended in March 2007. The first English-language album Garou "Piece of My Soul" (Part of my soul) brings together many sides of his musical personality and is something like the story about an ordinary day of his life. Together with Garou album worked well-known producers and composers: Per Astrom (Celine Dion, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez), don Muskol (Ronan Keating, Richie Heavens, Leann of Reims), Kristian Lunde (Backstreet boys, N sinc, Britney Spears), guy chambers (Robbie Williams).
