The life of 19-year-old Alice Kingsley takes
an unexpected turn. The Victorian party thrown in her honor,
Alice makes an offer Hamish, a rich but stupid son of Lord and lady
The Ascot. Without answering, the girl runs away and goes for a rabbit, spotted
it on the lawn. The rabbit as a rabbit, he's just wearing a camisole and all
time looks at his pocket watch.
In Burton's "Alice" has survived the characters, elements of the storyline and the Central themes of the books of Lewis Carroll, but it is a completely new story. Alice returns to Wonderland, where she was already in childhood, but no memories of their previous adventures she has no more.
The singer starring MIA wasikowska, the first of defined media actors involved in the project, was approved four months before we started shooting.
- The audition for Alice were known young actress Dakota blue Richards. However, because of the age difference (scenario provided 18-year-old heroine) and the number of turns of the plot, including a love affair with the Mad Hatter (johnny Depp), a 14-year old (at the time) blue Richards was denied.
- Johnny Depp joked in an interview that could play all the roles in this movie. He was subsequently selected for the role of the Mad Hatter.
The film is based on the fairy tale by Lewis Carroll and her sequel to "Alice in Wonderland".
- Shooting with live actors lasted only 40 days.
- The role of Alice auditioned Amanda Seyfried and Lindsay Lohan.
- The growth of MIA Wasikowska, who plays Alice, 5 feet and 4 inches in real life. During film growth, Alice changes all the time - from 6 inches to 20 feet. Much work has been to use a more practical method of changing growth than the special effects, often Alice (MIA Wasikowska) had to use stilts to be above the rest.
