Tony Parsons. Starting over, or race with destiny

Tony Parsons. Starting over, or race with destinyIn addition manifested in this and previous books Briton Tony Parsons literary talents, he is a columnist for the Russian version of GQ, as well as published in a whole bunch of famous books, among them The Face, Marie Claire, Arena, The Guardian, ELLE, The Daily Telegraph, The Spectator. This means at least that Parsons knows how to entice your reader and make him interesting even the household history. As a writer, he declared itself the book "Man and Boy", which became a bestseller in many countries. In "Starting over" Parsons tells us the story at the same time social and touching, with characteristic British causticity and quite "non UK" sentimentality.

This is the story of an average middle-aged family man living is not empty, but rather smooth life, until he catches a heart attack. Rousing himself, he discovers that he has transplanted heart. And at first the only logical reaction to this incident is inbred with incredible strength, the desire of life. However, with each new day feeling someone else's heart is becoming clearer and pushes hero on an uncharacteristic actions, fundamentally changing views on family, relationships with children and rethinking their fate...

Roman Parsons incredibly easy to read, however, affect the main theme - love and life in many different forms. But not in the sense of high and beyond the understanding of the matter, but as a phenomenon that is reflected in the most ordinary situations and long-familiar people. "Starting over" is unlikely to become a literary revelation, but this is another opportunity to reflect about their lives, as banal as it may sound.
