Gorillaz

GorillazAfter 5 years of silence musician Damon Albarn, the Creator of the virtual project Gorillaz, announced the release of the album "Plastic Beach" is the third and most "pop" disk in the group's history, reports the NME. According to Albarn, the drive that was originally conceived as a project of "Carousel" on "mystical aspects of the UK" almost recorded and mixed. "Of course, as this Gorillaz, we have slightly changed the scene of action, but in many British album of melancholy," said the musician.

In an interview with The Guardian, the author of "Gorillas" noticed that specially made pop album, as a response to the dominance in the music of immigrants from the show The X Factor - the British equivalent of "factory of stars". "This is the most pop record I've done in my life, but I have invested all his experience, " said Albarn. I wanted to join the pop-perception and feeling the melancholy, when you buy the semi-finished product in a plastic bag".

It is known that in the work on the plate participated rapper Snoop Dogg, former frontman of The Velvet Underground Lou reed, actor Mos Def and even national Orchestra of Syria. However, due to the employment Albarn did not have time to sign up with British pop singer Engelbert Hamperdinkom. "Where you lose where you find it," remarked philosophically Blur frontman.
