Salad Waldorf


Salad WaldorfRoot celery can be bought at any time of the year that allows us to prepare a variety of delicious and healthy dishes.


Ingredients:




- 1 large green Apple


- 1 large red Apple


- 1/2 head fennel


3 celery petiole


- 1/2 Cup shelled walnuts


- 5 tablespoons mayonnaise


- 1 small lime


lemon juice





Steps:


Peel the apples, peel and pith, flesh cut into strips. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice so they do not darken. Fennel wash,


greens cut and save for decoration. The rest is cut into thin strips and soak for 5 minutes in ice water. Drain in a colander and drain. Cut the celery into thin slices.




In a bowl, mix the celery, fennel and apples. Walnuts lightly toast in the oven at 160 °C, will not chop very finely.




Mix the mayonnaise with the juice and zest of lime, season salad. Stir.




Arrange on salad plates, sprinkle with walnuts, garnish with parsley fennel and serve immediately.
