For some people food to become a cult, some fall from her addiction. And for most of us it in varying degrees, has elements of worship and dependence. The first step to healthy eating is the realization that we are food-crazy. About as well as some abuse alcohol, nicotine, drugs, sex, gambling, etc. etc. Abuse can be anything that brings pleasure (at least in the beginning).
