Your individual flavor

Your individual flavorPerfume - like spectacle frames should work perfect for you. Today, among the many flavors in stores, you can find both classic scents and most trendy perfumes from leading brands.

Classification of fragrance from a to I

You must first decide what flavor you want, based on their preferences and mood. Distinguish seven main groups of aromas.

Amber (Oriental). Persistent, sexual and heavy fragrances, which are based on spicy notes. The main "ingredients" of such fragrances are musk, civet, amber, sandalwood and patchouli.

Choosing amber, you need to decide what notes should prevail. If you prefer sweet smells, you should pay attention to a floral-Oriental fragrance. A lover of all food ingredients, such as cinnamon, cloves, pepper and Bay leaf, should think about purchasing a spicy aroma.

Classic Oriental fragrances are heavy "amber". They are perfect strong ambitious personalities.

As the aromas of the East group wood are divided into woody-sweet, woody-spicy and woody-amber fragrance.

The "heart" aromas of this group is oak moss, supplemented with lavender, bergamot, coumarin.

Flower. You can choose a perfume based on a single flower or aromababy", which is a "mix" of aromas few flowers. Regardless of whether it will "monoatomic" or "bouquet", decide immediately what the smell must have perfume: romantic and gentle, or bright and saturated. Depend on the prevailing tone of your new fragrance: Jasmine, rose, violet, tuberose, Narcissus, lilac, geranium, Mimosa, or Lily of the valley.

Depending on your preferences, you can choose one of the characteristic of this family of scents: "tart", "flower" or "sharp".

The concentration of aromas

The durability of the fragrance depends on the concentration - percentage of aromatic essences (essential oil obtained directly from a plant or flower) and alcohol.

Also very important is the intensity of the fragrance, which directly depends on the content of the essence in perfume.

Depending on the concentration of essential oils, we can distinguish several categories of fragrance:

Spirits (parfum extrait) - persistent and costly aroma with a complex formula. The concentration of aromatic oils is 20-43% pure alcohol 96%. Enough to cause the skin 1-2 drops, and the smell will be held from 8 to 12 hours.

Eau de Parfum (Eau de Parfum EDP) is contained in spray-a spray bottle or a bottle with atomizer. 10-20% is of the essence (alcohol 90%). Formula perfumed water allows the scent to stay on the body for 6 to 8 hours.

EDT (Eau de Toilette EDT) contains 4-10% of an essential oil in alcohol 80-90%. Free water is reduced, less persistent and intense option perfumed water. The fragrance lasts 2-3 hours.

Cologne

(Eau de Cologne EDC) is the least concentrated perfume product. 3-5% in alcohol 70% makes Cologne the least intense form of fragrance. Often contained in the vial without dispenser.

Miniature. An exact copy of the spirits, issued by the manufacturer to a lesser extent. On resistance of the miniature is not worse than the original and retains its flavor for up to 8 hours.

Symphony of flavor

The creation of the fragrance can be compared to writing music. To make a masterpiece, you need to combine a number of ingredients. These components - the composition of the fragrance, its characteristic notes that "sound" step by step, merging into a Symphony. Initial ("head") note, middle note and end ("basic") note - the stages of revelation bouquet aroma.

Top notes. You will feel it within the first 15 minutes unfortunately, the smell will quickly evaporate, leaving a subtle and as yet unclear idea about the perfume. In the first of the notes typically contain light floral, citrus and herbal aromas.

Heart Note. The core of the composition and the link between the start and end notes of the fragrance. Lasts for 3-4 hours.

Final note. The final note of the fragrance, which stabilizes the smell and determines its resistance. It consists of "heavy" elements essences with woody and spicy notes are sandalwood, patchouli, the scent of Oriental spices, moss, musk, amber, civet.

The art of applying fragrance

The art lies in the ability not to overdo it. "More" does not mean "longer". To the others head was spinning from your new perfume should adhere to the following rules: 1-2 drops of spirits, 3 "zilch" perfumed water, and 4 - free water. If you use Cologne, you can apply 6 drops.

It is best to apply perfume to areas of the body where the pulse is palpated - they are much "warmer", and this contributes to the spread of fragrance.

Evelyn Lauder said, "Fine spirits get any on those body parts that are in motion, and you will bring joy to everyone around you". So, using perfume, don't miss these parts of your body, such as the inside of the elbow, back of knees, wrist.

Another important point is the control number of your favorite spirits. Over time you get used to it, so to speak, "sniff" the smell and I can not objectively evaluate its intensity, and this can be a serious problem for the people around you. Do not change your daily "dose" of applying fragrance.

For the storage of spirits choose a cool, dark place, because under the action of direct sunlight and heat perfume can be damaged.

Put a bottle of spirits, for example, in the bedroom, and even better in the fridge.

Selection rules

How to choose new fragrance, not everyone knows. In the perfume store is best to go in the morning at this time, the smell is still not "tired" of many odors that occur in everyday life.

Store spray your favorite fragrance on the test strip (they are next to the testers). Don't get to smell the perfume immediately after application, and wait 20 seconds until you weathered the alcohol.

Periodically go back to the smell of paper in order to understand how it "behaves".

If the trip to the store will not be limited to testing one flavor, don't forget to bring some coffee. Coffee affects the receptors of smell, and you will easily be able to test different fragrances without the risk of losing the "scent".

Rules applying

Apply the fragrance in several ways.

Directly on the skin

. Apply perfume on the neck, the areas behind the ears, on the wrists, elbow bends, also you can "sprinkle" the bends of the legs (below the knee) and the indentation on his chest.

A cloud of fragrance

. Evelyn Lauder knows a lot about perfume. Follow her advice, putting fragrance on the body. In order to better put perfume on, point the bottle up, spray the contents into the air, and take a step forward in this cloud. The fragrance will "wrap up" the skin and clothing.

Aromatic care. If you don't like sharp intense odors, use perfume fragranced shower gel and body lotion with the same scent that favourite perfume.
