Vitamin D cures headache

Vitamin D cures headacheHeadache associated with deficiency of vitamin D in the blood. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by Norwegian scientists.

In the framework of the project the Norwegian Tromsø Study, scientists from the University hospital of Northern Norway examined data on 11614 the participants who have passed the examination in 2007-2008. The analysis showed that the frequency of headaches by 20% higher in people with low levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in serum. However, we are talking only about a headache not associated with migraines.

Research has shown that vitamin D is potentially involved in the formation of a headache. At the same time, the level of this vitamin greatly depends on the food habits and lifestyle of a person.
