Calzone


CalzoneCalzone (ital. calzone) - Italian pie, actually is a closed form of pizza, made in the form of a Crescent. Calzone is a typical dish for the Central and southern regions of Italy. In this country, he has other names: panzerotto and panzarotto.




Ingredients (2 servings)


- 1 portion of the dough for pizza


- 3 tbsp olive oil


- 1 small onion, finely chopped


85 g Parma ham or prosciutto (Italian ham made ham), chopped


- 2 tbsp. chopped parsley


- 150 g goat cheese, crumbled


- 150 g mozzarella cheese, grated


- 1 tablespoon fresh Basil


- salt and black pepper





Method of preparation:


To prepare the filling, heat half of the olive oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onion and cook, stirring, until soft. Add the Parma ham or prosciutto, parsley and cook, stirring, 2 minutes on medium heat. Remove from heat, allow to cool, then add the cheese and Basil. Season with salt and pepper.




Preheat oven to 240 g C. After the dough the first time will go up, hit it and knead for 1 minute, Divide the dough into 2 portions. Roll out each portion into a circle with a diameter of 30 cm to pass on to the baking sheet. Olive oil to grease.




Divide the filling on half of each basis, leaving 2 cm from the edge. Lubricate the edge of the water. Roll in half to get polprop. Zaschipit edges and bake for 20-25 minutes until Golden brown.
