Who created Youtube?

YouTube is among the three most popular websites among Internet users. All users of the Internet know YouTube as a site where you can view the most interesting video clips on various topics, but not everyone knows about its creators.


Project Youtube was created by three employees of PayPal (payment system that is popular among Internet users because it allows you to quickly and safely transfer money via the Internet), among whom was Javed Karim (Jawed Karim). It was his idea to create the famous YouTube video. Few people know that the project website was demonstrated in the garage Chad Hurley (one of the founders of YouTube). All three of them, liked the idea Karim, and in 2005 was registered the domain for the site. Javed Karim was born in 1979 in city Merseburg, Germany. The father is a native of Bangladesh, working in the company "Three Em" and mother is German, researcher at the University of Minnesota. Javed grew up in Germany, but in 1992, the family moves on their in the United States. Fluent in two languages: German and English. After graduation, he entered the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.




The University of Illinois was founded in 1867, and at the present time, is considered one of the best universities in the United States. As a student graduate student, he trained at the National center for applications of supercomputers.
