The international children's day is one of the oldest holidays. The decision was made in 1925 at the world conference, devoted to the well-being of children in Geneva.
In children's party decided to hold screenings of children's movies, cartoons and TV shows, sporting events for children, concerts and parades.
Due to the fact that this year the holiday fell down on weekdays, in Kiev decided to move the main event on June 4.
At 12:00 from Bohdan Khmelnytsky street to independence square will host the pageant of historical characters, music, theater and dance groups, sportsmen.
C 14.00 to 20.00 on Khreschatyk will work children's entertainment and play area.
From 17.00 till 22.00 on the Maidan will be a gala concert of the children's talents and masters of Ukrainian music.
Meanwhile, in other parts of the capital will be their entertainment and educational events.
From 11:00 to 14:00 at the building of the Kiev state administration will work exhibition, will be held a drawing competition on the asphalt, will take place the concert of children's groups.
In Dniprovskiy district at 13:00 at the address: Rainbow street, 51. Performance dance group teen club "Grenada".
In Svyatoshinsky district from 10:30 to 13:30 in the Park "International" will be held street action "We are your children, Ukraine", as well as contests, games, competitions, circus program and free rides.
