Overcome loneliness at work

Overcome loneliness at workMy girlfriend recently got a new job. Telling me about their experiences in a new place, she complained: "I now feel very lonely there. Sometimes within a day none of my Department didn't speak to me. Everywhere, where I worked before, I easily make friends, talked and talked. Now I can't say that the people here are hostile - they are polite, but not very sociable. This makes me very annoyed and I begin to feel that hate their jobs and all around".

I remembered that not so long ago the same problem we discussed with my neighbor, and decided to reflect on this topic. Perhaps many people sometimes encounter the same problem.

If we expect the people around us behave as we would like, we generally will be disappointed. But we can achieve much better results, accepting others for what they are and showing your genuine interest in them. If you find yourself in a similar situation, try to stop thinking about what is happening in this moment with you, and think about other people around you. Showed if you interest to each of them? Or maybe you are constantly annoyed so that no one is interested to communicate with you? In fact, usually we will ask ourselves another tone of communication.

In addition, more often than not this occurs if you configure themselves negatively. Maybe you always say to yourself: "They are all hostile, no one pays me any attention, and because of this I no longer love this job". Immediately stop all these thoughts and tell yourself that you will think only positively. After this try to approach him yourself instead of waiting until they make the first step. But keep in mind that if you look at their work as an opportunity to get new friends, it is quite possible that your colleagues treat it differently. And if so, it's not your fault.

But in any case, your positive attitude and friendly attitude toward new colleagues will lead to the establishment of normal communication and will melt the cool atmosphere, which, as you seem to have arisen between you and the new team.
