February 23

February 23In the USSR it was believed that February 23 is the red day calendar, the birthday of the red Army. In 1923 the celebration on February 23 was officially legalized by Order of the Revolutionary Military Council (RWC) of the USSR and was celebrated as the Day of the red Army.

After the victory in world war II, the holiday on February 23 was renamed from the Day of the red Army on the Day of the Soviet Army and Navy.

Today, many of us simply crossed out this day from my calendar, and it is in vain!

Not necessary to justify yourself that this is the day of the Soviet Army that no longer exists, and to focus on the fact that not every modern man served in the ranks, not that b of the Soviet army, and just the army.

Just let's count, how many holidays have us women: international women's day, Mother's Day, children's Day - these days women give flowers and congratulations.

And what is left for men? Men congratulate the 23th of February and today about this tradition begin to forget.

And you just think, as Defender of the Fatherland Day is an occasion to congratulate our closest and most beloved men. Remind them that they are Defenders - defenders of his family "Fatherland". And to preserve and protect women, to love us the way we are, not so easy.

February 23, our favorite men!
