Depeche Mode in Kiev

One of the best modern British "Depeche Mode", which won cult status around the world, for the first time to visit Ukraine with a single concert. This group has created his own style in the genre electronic and rock music and is one of the most successful and long-lived groups in the world. "Depeche Mode" is still releasing albums, touring and sounds in this modern, despite the fact that the group has more than 25 years. Over the years, the band has released 12 Studio albums. "Depeche mode" was established as the group's original line-up consisted of Dave Gahan (lead vocals), Martin Gore (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Andrew Fletcher (keyboards) and Vince Clarke (keyboards). Vince Clarke left the band after their debut album in 1981, he was replaced by Alan Wilder (keyboards, drums), who played in the band from 1982 to 1995. After the departure of Alan, the band has continued as a trio, and now in the group are Gahan, Gore and Fletcher.


October 6, 2008 in Berlin at the stadium Olympiastadion hosted a press conference "Depeche Mode". They announced a new world tour Tour of the Universe in support of the new, 12th in a row, the album "Sounds Of The Universe". Only one for the past tour, the band performed in front of more than 2.8 million people in 31 countries (87 show). "Depeche Mode" will give his only concert in Kyiv in the framework of the world tour Tour Of The Universe in support of the new album in Kyiv sports Palace.
