Mikhail Pugovkin brilliantly would have turned 88 years

Mikhail Pugovkin was born 13 July 1923 in the village Rameshki Chuhloma district of the Yaroslavl region in a poor peasant family. But from childhood he showed artistic talent is very fond of singing, dancing Gypsy, lady and Russian polacco, so no one was surprised by the desire of young Misha to become an actor.


After the movie "Soldier Ivan Brovkin" (1955) came to him a real success. No less successful were also films "Girls" (1961), "Operation S" (1965), "Wedding in Malinovka (1967), "12 chairs" (1971), "Ivan Vasilyevich changes occupation" (1973).




Pugovkin worked at the Studio "Mosfilm", as well as in the Studio Gorky. During his career, a famous actor appeared in about 100 movies. In 1988 he received the title of people's artist of the USSR.




Mikhail Pugovkin died 25 July 2008 at his home in Moscow, aggravation of diabetes. He was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery.
