July 25, 1955 In the Somali town of Mogadishu in the family of the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Mohamed Abdulmajid was born a lovely girl called Iman. As her parents, Iman Muslim. She has two brothers, Elias and Faisal, and sister Nadia, Somali model.


Iman graduated from high school in Egypt and later lived in Kenya, where still live with her parents. Fluent in five languages - Arabic, English, French, Italian and Somali, studied political science at the University of Nairobi.

Iman is married to David Bowie is an icon of British music.

Iman opened a registered trademark IMAN Global Chic in Home Shopping Network (HSN) is a network of home purchases. She is the CEO of IMAN Cosmetics, Skincare & Fragrances - a company producing cosmetics.


Iman takes part in the program "Save the Children" (Keep A Child Alive), which is engaged in the delivery of medications to children affected by HIV and AIDS and helps their families in Africa and other developing countries.
