Erotic World 2011, burnt and not opened


Copenhagen Fairgrounds KB Hallen, which was preparing for the opening of the event called "the Fair sex 2011", the morning of 28 September, almost completely burned down.


The building collapsed Central section of the roof, the smoke from the fire was visible for several kilometers around. According to preliminary estimates, all products offered by manufacturers and sellers of products for adults, was completely destroyed.


This affected a few people who stayed overnight in the complex, as the morning was going to open the exhibition. Firefighters later told that at a certain stage were confident that they were able to take the spread of the fire is under control, but the flames had reached a particularly combustible exhibits, and fire again gained strength.


As a result, local emergency services have focused on how to keep the flame to spread to surrounding buildings.


KB Hallen - one of the oldest multi-purpose indoor playgrounds in Denmark. The complex was not only exhibitions and fairs, and sporting events, and concerts by popular musicians. It was planned that the building, built in 1938, will be demolished next spring. Recall that in August in the U.S. because of a strong gust of wind hit the stage at the fair, injuring more than 40 people died, according to four.
