Chicken Tandoori


Chicken TandooriChicken tandoori is a popular Indian dish of Punjabi origin. It is traditionally cooked in a tandoor - a special oven. But this dish is really good and on the grill or BBQ.



Ingredients:


- 8 chicken legs, purified from skin


- 190 ml natural yogurt


- 3-4 cm fresh ginger, finely chopped


- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped


- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground red Chile


- 1 teaspoon ground sweet paprika


- 2 tsp ground cumin


- 2 tsp ground coriander


- 1 teaspoon salt


- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste (optional)


- 150 ml water


- 50 g melted butter or butter





Method of preparation:


Take each piece of chicken for 2-3 incision. Put in a bowl of yogurt. Add the ginger, garlic, chili powder, ground cumin, ground corinader, salt. Mix thoroughly.




Put the chicken in yogurt with spices and good roll. Leave in the marinade for at least 3 hours.




If you do with the tamarind paste, then in a separate bowl, mix the tamarind paste with water, add in yogurt with spices. Stir the chicken pieces in this mixture and leave to marinate for another half hour.




Put the chicken pieces in a fireproof dish and brush the chicken with oil. Bake in the oven grill at 200°C for 30-35 minutes.




Lay the chicken on salad greens and serve with rings lightly fried onions, tomatoes and lemon wedges.
