Salmon in puff pastry


Salmon in puff pastryEasy, beautiful and delicious dish that can be prepared in advance (6 hours before serving, cover with foil and placing in the fridge) and put in the oven when guests arrive.



Ingredients:


- 75 g butter


- 20 g fresh parsley, finely chopped


- zest and juice of 1 lemon


- 2 packages of 500 g puff pastry


- 70 g prosciutto ham or smoked bacon


- 800 g piece of salmon


- 1 red onion, chopped


- 1 egg





Method of preparation:


Heat to 200ยบ C. In a small bowl, beat the butter with the parsley, lemon juice and zest. Season with salt and pepper.




Roll out a package of dough into a rectangle the size of h cm (about 5 cm long salmon and 5 cm wide). Put on a baking sheet, greased.




Put on the dough slices of ham, allowing it to hang over the edge, to later wrap it on top of salmon.




Put on top of the salmon and spread it with oil and herbs. Sprinkle chopped onion and cover with hanging pieces of prosciutto. Grease the pastry edges with beaten egg.




Roll out the second test package is larger than the first rectangle and put it on salmon.




Compress tightly the edges and trim the excess with a sharp knife. Or zaschipit in a circle with the fingers or with a fork. From scraps can make a decoration on top.




Coat the dough with beaten egg and bake for 30 minutes until Golden brown and crisp. Cut at the table.
