Britt Reid loafer burn money his father James, owner of a large newspaper. James was always dissatisfied with his son, and soon after another argument he died from a bee sting. Britt met with a mechanic father, Chinese Kato, and they become friends. The friends decided to fight crime as a superhero. Fluent in martial arts Kato equipped with armored car "Black Beauty" with all sorts of weapons, including rockets and machine guns. Using his newspaper Britt promoted team Green Hornet (himself) and his unnamed assistant (Kato) as criminals, decided to invade the entire city. They are trying to oppose the mafia the city, Chudnofsky supported by district attorney Mike Axford.
The green Hornet appeared in the 60-ies as a hero radio show, and later appeared in comic books and movies dedicated to his adventures. First, the role of the main villain proposed Nicolas cage, and when he refused the offer had been accepted Christoph waltz, who played in "the inglorious bastards" villain Landa.
For the role in the film, Seth Rogen lost weight by 13, 5 kg.
