In Kyiv will take place the exhibition Ellie Davies

From 16 March to 9 may 2011 in Kyiv Brucie Collections gallery will host an exhibition of young British photographer Ellie Davis.


Ellie Davies lives and works in London, where he received a master's degree majoring in photography. Since 2008, it was noted at the major international competitions: the New York Photo Awards, Paris Photo Prize, International Photography Awards.




According to the organizers of the exhibition, the approach of Davis to the creation of images "is consciousness and the ability to combine professional photography with thinking about the purpose and the essence of art".




For example, his series of Smoke and mirrors Ellie associating with a journey into the subconscious. The majority of her new works show the implementation of human creative activity in pristine nature. The first professional series demonstrated everyday situations that the photographer is able to apply as a mystery, the mysterious relationship between people from opposite sides of the lens.




The exhibition at Brucie Collections combines a series of observation points, Smoke and mirrors, After dark, Island, Quiet, dark, dense and recent works under the General title Go with me.
