A-Ha

The Norwegian band A-Ha is one of the leading groups of electro-pop, which appeared at the end of the "new wave". Music A-Ha inherent graphic, somewhat cold ("Scandinavian") these synth-guitar sound, expressive ballad melody, coupled with unobtrusive dancing style, romantic, full of (sometimes) easy sadness. For many songs, A-Ha are nostalgic symbol of youth and loving relationship.


In 1976, young inhabitants of Oslo Paul Waaktaar (Pal Waaktaar; guitar, vocals, percussion) and Magne Furuholmen (Magne Furuholmen; keys, guitar, vocals) decided to gather a group, calling her Bridges. Joined Viggo Bondi (Viggo Bondi) and Question Lebanon (Qystein Jevanord). When their paths first met the future lead singer of A-Ha Morten Harket (Morten Harket), he was only one of the concert goers Bridges. Soon it was invented was a new, quick, easy and memorable name for the group A-Ha. Submitting your entry to the branch label Warner in late 1983, the group has achieved contract managers immediately suspected in A-Ha great potential. And they, as it turned out, was right. The single "Take on Me" in full glory demonstrated lyrical strength pure as the sky, vocals Harket, thrice occupied a leading position in the British charts, remaining No. 2 in 1985.




Their creative journey is complete... but their ballads and hits will be with us forever in our hearts! The band A-ha made an official statement about the end of their musical career.




Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, Magne Furuholmen and Morten Harket said: "the time has Come to research other expressive aspects of life: humanitarian work, politics, or anything else. We go as a group, not as individuals. Change is always difficult, so it will be easier if they will face each of us. It's time to move on".




The famous team from Norway forever with a big stage, but before leaving, the band goes in a farewell world tour, to finish on a high note.




The last world tour of the legendary Norwegian band A-ha started in early 2010 and will culminate in a huge concert in Oslo on 4 December 2010.




And, of course, the legendary group could not come to Ukraine, where her fans have become millions of people. Within tour November 4, IEC will be the last farewell concert!




For the first time in one concert will feature 25 of the best, Golden hits, which they conquered the whole world.
