Every day we try to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously. As is often the end of the day we understand that almost no time to do much! Like something had been busy all day, but the result is still far?!
How to focus on working to the end of the day no guessing about what the time was spent, and where this time actually sailed?
Clearly define goals.
The most important thing is to set out a clear and understandable goals and build a plan of the items that will help to achieve them. Jot down your goals in writing. As soon as you once again something will distract during the working day, look at your goals, and you will again concentrate on work.
Identify the goal (less global and large-scale goals).
Of course, it is very important to have a global goal, however, it is important to define a more narrow and less global targets. Data more small-scale sub-objectives should serve you a kind of ladder towards a global goal. Reaching planned targets, you are approaching the final result. In addition, certain specified targets will always help to understand what stage the way you are, and what remains to be done.
Learn to prioritize.
Learn to prioritize and highlight which tasks are more urgent, what is more important (important to you, your future) at this particular moment. Remember that urgent tasks help you to do the work on time. But not all urgent tasks are both important (i.e., not all urgent tasks is sure to play a pivotal role in the future). Learn how to properly assess the situation and decide what is in the moment, it is more important to you.
Constantly make a report about what you have done and what remains to be done.
Regularly check with your plan to see what has been done and what remained unfulfilled. Include challenges to the plan the next day, so eventually you have nothing left.
Leave yourself a choice, in what order to solve problems.
Sometimes, not always, coming to work in the morning, we may immediately be included in the labor process. Sometimes it takes time to force myself to work and do something. The result is lost precious time, and in the end of the day challenge becomes even greater. Start your day with those tasks that you are currently ready to solve it with pleasure, or at least, no negative. When you feel that a working mood has come, proceed to the solution less attractive to you.
Solve all the most important things in the first half of the day.
If the last time we had to work hard and sometimes seven days a week, turn your work schedule, moving the most important and serious business for the first half of the day, and less important in the second. This economical mode of operation will help you continue carefully to solve a very serious problem and at the same time give yourself a chance to rest a bit in the second half of the day.
Ask for help from your colleagues.
Every time you will be in a bad mood and will exhibit a clear unwillingness to do anything, ask your colleagues to remind you about your goals and what must be done today.
Besides the daily work plan and give yourself reminders on your PC or on colored stickers.
Reminders on the desktop of your computer or bright stickers will also help you not to forget to do something important task and will not equivocate.
